Seaweed Weekend in Oregon
Seaweed Weekend in Newport, Oregon hosted by the Pacific Heritage Maritime Center (PHMC) was an absolute blast! A weekend full of events and enthusiastic conversations. A combination of art and science as a celebration of The Curious World of Seaweed exhibit by Josie Iselin. Thanks to Josie for creating such mesmerizing art that has the power to bring a whole community together.
Winter Waters - a regenerative seafare series
We’re excited to announce the return of the Portland and Oregon Coast dining series, Winter Waters! During the month of February 2024, Winter Waters will once again partner with chefs and tastemakers to celebrate regenerative seafood, with an emphasis on farmed sea vegetables including wakame, kombu, sea lettuce, and dulse.
